Beta Reading
So, you have a manuscript that you think is nearly perfect. It’s been edited and polished to the best of your ability. But how will the public see it? I’ll go through and catch any last minute problems that need to be fixed and give you feedback on how the average reader will see and react to your story.
With this service, you’ll receive at least 7 pages of feedback detailing actionable suggestions and ideas for improvement.
Turnaround time is 3 weeks from receiving your manuscript.
Price is $25 per 10k words.
Developmental Editing
This is the nuts and bolts of what I do. I will go through your entire manuscript and give you detailed information on what works, what doesn’t, and what needs to be changed. I’ll make suggestions for revisions and detailed reasons for each comment I make. You will receive in-line edits, edits through track changes, and a report laying out everything in between. I’ve been editing for over 10 years and know what it takes to make a story great.
Sample edits are always free. Feel free to email me up to 500 words to see what I can do for you.
Turnaround time is 8 weeks from receiving your manuscript.
Price is $75 per 10k words.
Line/Copy Editing
This is the editing for you if you’re only focused on the flow and grammar of the novel. I will meticulously go through and make your novel shine.
Turnaround time is 6 weeks from receiving your manuscript.
Price is $0.02 per word.
How it works
For a sample edit, all you need to do is email me up to 500 words at enchantedchaptersediting@gmail.com. Turnaround time is 7 days.
If you decide you would like me to provide a service for you, please email me so we can get you on my schedule.
I will invoice you for 50% of the price once the manuscript is received. If payment is not received within 48 hours, services will be canceled. The other 50% will be due after the manuscript is returned to you.
If payment is disputed, this will also result in a cancelation of services.
You will receive your edits or report back within the timeframe listed above.
